Woodware Bee Happy birthday card

Hello and welcome to the April challenge over Happy Little Stampers Watercolour Challenge. This time our optional twist is Rainbow, and you can choose to play along with that or just submit any watercolour project.

Our winner for this challenge will receive a $20 coupon to spend at the shop! Check out all the details HERE.

IF YOU USE STAMPS BY HAPPY LITTLE STAMPERS AND YOU ARE OUR RANDOM WINNER, YOUR PRIZE WILL BE DOUBLED!

This time I decided to make this birthday card for a bee keeping friend who has a birthday this month. When I saw this cute Woodware stamp set at a craft show recently I just had to buy it because it had my friend's name written all over it!

1) Stamp the image onto watercolour paper and colour it using Zig watercolour brush pens and a waterbrush.

2) When it has dried, paint in the sky and grass and let it dry before stamping the flying bees above the hive.

3) Take a square of black card and stamp and white emboss the bee and the sentiments.

4) Place the image on the left of the back card and mount it onto the base card.

You'll find lots of inspiration over on the HLS Blog, so why not pop over there for a gander before you decide on your project for this month.

I'd like to go and play at

Happy Easter, Carol!
I love your spring card. When I look at her, I feel that the spring has come. It does not matter that winter outside the window again :-(
I love how you painted the picture beautifully. Great work with watercolors.
Carol, I do not know if you know, but your link does not work - the last letter at the end of the link is missing
Hugs,
BożenA
